Directions from Anchorage:
Approx. 43 miles north of Anchorage on the Glenn Hwy, Rt 1. Go through the 2 stop lights on the Glenn Hwy in Palmer continuing North about 1 1/2 miles to the Palmer Fishhook Rd-Hatcher Pass, Turn left, follow the paved Fishhook Rd for 7 1/2 miles to the red barn style mailbox on the right (see colored flags and"galloping horses" sign). We are 1 mile past the Turner's Corner, Hatcher Pass Gateway Center that's located at mile 6 1/2 from the Glenn Hwy (Rte. 1). Our road is paved for the first 30 feet, continue in for 1/2 mile, we are the only place on the left, through the pole gate.
Directions from Wasilla traveling on the Parks Hwy.(Rte.3) :
Turn down N.Main St. in downtown Wasilla at the stop light, go past the Tesoro 2Go gas station. You'll pass the Wasilla Post Office, continue through the stop sign & light (stay left on the main road, it will turn into Wasilla-Fishhook Rd.going past Iditarod Elementary School). Follow Wasilla Fishhook to the end (it's a curvy road, approx. 11 miles from Wasilla). At the end, turn left at the T (you'll be on Palmer Fishhook, heading toward Hatcher Pass). We're 8/10's of a mile from the T on the right @ the red mailbox with the colored flags & sign. Drive 1/2 mile in on the side road, you'll see the pole entry gate to get into our facility. Make sure you turn before the 35mph curve sign, if you get to the Little Susitna River Bridge, you've gone 1/2 mile too far. Call first for reservations, please.
Directions from Palmer-Wasilla Hwy.:
About 1/2 way from Palmer or Wasilla (approx. 5-6 miles), you'll come to a stoplight @ Four Corners - Tesoro 2 Go gas station (corner of Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. & Trunk Rd.) Take Trunk Rd. past the gas station (approx. 4 miles) to the end. It will "T" onto the Palmer Fishhook Rd, turn left toward Hatcher Pass. Drive approx. 5 1/2 miles (you'll see the Turner's Corner gas station on the left, 1 mile before the red mailbox with colored flags & sign on the right we're you'll be turning. We're 1/2 mile in on the side road that starts out paved for 30'. You'll enter our facility as you go through the log pole gate. Please call first and make a Reservation.
NOTE: The Willow Hatcher Pass Road, to try and drive over Hatcher Pass from Willow to Palmer Fishhook is closed (due to rough road conditions and snow, until sometime near July 4th.
